Anyone else get the sense that the firm is trying to make the boys quit?

Hear me out. It's actually the opposite of what tends to happen. In many workplaces, if an employee decides he wants to quit (but wants that sweet redundancy package) he will perform his job badly (but not too badly) so the firm will make him redundant (rather than quitting and not getting it). With Opie and Anthony, it's almost like the firm is doing something similar. Maybe if the firm were to decide to axe the show, they would have to pay out an 'exit bonus' to the boys (it could be a part of their contract). Instead, having decided for whatever reason that they want to drop the show, they "mistreat" the boys so they quit instead, thereby not having to payout the large sum.

The just re-upped their contract a year ago. The mistreatment has been going on for years. SXM just sucks.

I think you're giving far too much credit to SXM. As a user of their app, I can assure you they're not nearly competent enough to pull such a maneuver.

Remember, most of the SXM people are the rejects from regular radio.

SXM is like a retarded, blindfolded child trying to hit a pinata with a stick. They hit O&A in the balls because they're blindfolded and retarded, not because they're clever.

I would agree with you, but I don't think anybody at SXM is competent enough to do that.

i cant wait till they leave i wouldn't mind paying for a podcast... i pay like 16 bucks j to listen to o&a and ron and fez... i cant wait to cancel and j pay for a podcast... i will miss ron and fez though
