anyone else catch the very end of the show when the mics were still hot (Bobo)?

I never thought bobo was a "character," rather just a real-life doofus...but comparing how he spoke at the end of the show today to his regular appearances, I think he might "milk his 'dumb'" a little. thoughts?

I've heard it before but I think he can get wound up easily he gets really nervous on the air. If he thought the mikes were off he might not feel the same pressure.

you, along with everyone else on this goddamn post is right on point. I agree...

I don' think it's a character. He was still stuttering about taking Iliza "ddddeep sea divin".

When Opie and Sam were talking about his tapping he was much more calm, but there were less people in the room. Previously, he was sorta holding his own (in his bobo way) with Op, Ant, Jim, Illza, Sam, Dr. Steve all there.

exactly, i get anxiety when im in a room with alot of people, especially one that small, and to him thats like disney world, those are his heros so im sure he gets very hyped up.

Grow up, faggot

I just saw this and wanted to say it was really fucking funny.

yep. I don't got into public unless drunk for sure. I get what you're saying. opie still used the same kinda (hate to say condescending but) condescending tone with him which kinda proves yeah; the dude is the definition of stage fright.

his cadence and tone altogether changed, but opie still had anti-smarm toward him which reiterates your point for sure. I guess he just seemed calmer, fatter, but exponentially way more well-spoken.

If he IS a character, give him an oscar for his perf at the compound. Holy mackerel.

yep.

He's not a character, but he knows why he's on the show.

I think anthony or jimmy make him a little more nervous than opie for some reason.

Are Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld a little more evil than W?

He does the same when he calls into the shit show.

A long time ago someone gave his number out on the air. I called it out of the blue after the fact and got the same dumb Bobo.

I just looked, I still have his number.

And he'll call you back if he misses the call.

l to the fuckin ol.

holy Christ. that's fucking amazing. I remember that too....

fucking Bobo...

I used to work with a former SXM employee who told me a few things behind the scenes that proved to be true (O&A not getting along off air for a few years- believe that's better now, Sam being engaged before it was public, a few others). When I asked if Bobo was for real she started cracking up and nodding, told me about the dumb shit they'd make him do around the office. And not just on-air either. Sam Danny and Travis would pull that shit all day if he was around, bribing him with airtime and whatnot.

Somebody on wackbag said (back when Bobo was new and Wackbag was relevant) that Daniel "Bobo" Curlan was actually a graduate student at Columbia studying journalism and this was all a ploy to get into radio. A trolling statement or a Jesse Ventura conspiracy?

Nah he is a tard, saw him a few times at the old XM studio. It's not a bit or a character. Something like that would take way to much effort on O&A's part.

yeah...agreed. good insight, btw.

Thermite taint!

Still better than Jimmy's horrendous game.

His whole "I'm a heterosexual" gimmick?
