I have a bad feeling this is the end of O&A, Opie seems to want to move to afternoons and Ant has made it very clear he won't and is in no way contractually obliged to do so. I also seem like they would want to end the show on good terms, and it seems they have been getting along well lately.

No other show he could do would pay him a fraction of what he's making at Sirius, unless you assume that he'll go to terrestrial radio which doesn't seem likely. Plus by refusing to move, he'll be pissing off Sirius and pretty much the entire staff so whatever he does, he'll do alone. It just doesn't make any sense.

Dont know if I believe it just yet. He only had 2-3 tweets with no other explanations about it. I wouldnt be surprised if they did get moved, but i dont believe it 100%, like someone else said you havent seen Anthony going off on twitter about it yet. Anthony has said though through twitter that they cant move them, because its in contract, or something along those lines. Also I think Anthony not flipping shit on twitter holds more water than Opie saying a few words in reply to some tweets about it, with no further explanation.

It could work. Carolla built himself a rabid fanbase by being on at a time when the largest possible portion of his demographic was awake and able to listen to as much of the show as possible. If O&A hold their noses and actually give afternoons or evenings a shot, they'd likely find it agreeable.
