The real story is Opie respects Stern for paving the way but hates him on a personal level. What exactly are you trying to say? Opie actually likes Stern?

Early in the XM days, you can hear the hate. They went after his kid, everyone close to Stern, and so on. In the end, he's usually the first one to praise Stern, not Anthony or Jimmy. He's no longer going on about how Stern stole bits from Imus and other people. That vitriol is gone and for someone that "hates" someone so much, I would think that would stick around.

Again, wait a few months, listen to the praise, and realize that the war is over already. Geez, it's like talking to a bunch of Alex Jones listeners who think 9/11 was an inside job.
