I mean I know who everyone is and most of the big shit they've said/done, but I never really caught on to the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Can anyone here fill me in? Who hates who and shit like that?

Mars supposedly was a gangbanger in his youth, banging with the Latin Kings in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I was never told, how much he was involved with the gang, criminal activity etc but seem to have had some run ins with the law. The LK of Brooklyn is and was generally involved in crack-cocaine and meth. Mars is still sporting those tattoos and sometimes wears yellow gear, which leads me to believe, he still has some involvement or at least some connections to the gang, but in reality i'm completely lying, it's probably racist to assume Mars would be involved in gangs just because of his family heritage, so i may have caught you red-handed. then again, probably not, because the story is not very elaborate, but who gives a fuck, erock is pretty fat, and that's all i care about.

Sal sucks and is hated by everyone. Erock gets shit on even though he's the most senior staff member apart from the talent. Sam is a shit stirrer so I feel like there's a love hate relationship between him and everyone. Troy is a douche and hangs out with Roland like the jock hanging with the retard who'll do anything to be cool. Roland is an alcoholic fatbody who desperately chills with Troy. Sal sucks and is hated by everyone.

The only part you got wrong is Roland desperately hanging out with Troy and everyone. Roland couldn't care less and outside of movie viewings, he has been known to mostly hang out with people outside of the show and travel by himself to go check out foodie locations around the city. If anything people latch on to Roland because he uses his connections and high standards to get into all the best places. He has a history of being a lone wolf who does what he wants, goes out of his way to start shit and isn't shy about openly discussing the people and things he hates.

Basically who ever has the biggest penis on the staff is in charge and makes the decisions and since Sam is half black naturally he would be in charge.
