$10g's is a ton, but in Erock's defense, I never take vacations if I know I'm gonna have to penny-pinch the whole time. So if I were going to treat myself to the most expensive vacation in America, I would probably splurge like he does too. Makes you feel like an absolute boss for a week, anyway
Well yeah I guess, I was just illustrating how easy it would be to spend 10k. I only included disney, without any shopping or universal. I live here so I guess it doesn't seem like that much to me considering I've known how expensive it can get.
Disneyworld is as phony and awful as Vegas but without the rampant booze and gambling. I don't know why anyone would go there.
Sorry, just had to throw that in there. I will never spend another dime in that over priced, over hyped outdoor gift shop they call an amusement park. If I want to stand in lines all day it better be for something more exciting than It's A Small World.
That's only at the Magic Kingdom (and even then, they added a restaurant that serves, but not worth it just to drink). Food & Wine fest at Epcot, however, is pretty much one giant bar. Without the booze, Epcot would be practically unbearable.
And Yuengling practically pours from the faucets in Orlando.
Yeah, it would be cheaper to go to a local beer expo or a good restaurant/brew-pub for that many beers in one place... but not many of them are a monorail ride away from dumb childhood nostalgia.

Food at Disney isn't too expensive, it's just when you eat food at Erock's level, we're talking some quantity.

I used to work at a resort. A lot of people spend that much for a vacation, especially if they have kids.

Wait, no Vegas or Disney?
What places do you enjoy?

He's a Branson Missouri man. REAL LINEN NAPKINS!

I can see how that would read that way but i love Vegas. It's phony and awful in the best way possible.
But even my kids don't like Disneyworld - too many lines not enough rides and their cheap ass dad won't buy them all the movie themed shit they want.
1 Anton_Lemieux 2013-10-16
Oh, I see.
I'm not a fan of Disney either. I hate rides, and every one is a sweaty queer looking for dippin dots or plastic ears.
Then again, I don't have kids and I'm not a fat producer, so I'm probably not their intended clientele.

People who go there without children freak me out. No booze makes it impossible to be the happiest place on earth.
