When is it safe to assume Opie gave Erock the shaft?

Ever since Erock read off his itemized vacation list, I've yet to hear any sort of update or followup bit. I have no doubt that if Opie was going to pay up like he said he would, he'd certainly do so on the air, and with a grand production in true rich man fashion. This makes me tend to believe that either Opie completely sold out OR he gave Erock an amount much less than his original commitment.
On the other hand I could be completely off on this, as Opie could just simply be waiting for his wife to authorize the transaction.
SHAFT IT IS!

do the bit.

The bit was to build it up and end the show just as the dollar amount was announced. That was the big moment, and they did it like a top 10 list.
Opie probably cut him a check right then, and it was over.

WRONG.

What would you like to follow-up bit to be? Erock saying he got money from Opie and Opie confirming OR Opie saying he paid Erock and Erock confirming?

That would be hilarious! I also like when the boys eat on air.

Personal finances are rarely discussed on the show especially if a specific number is involved. If he did pay for Erock's vacation I'm sure Erock does not want the cost announced over the air like his phone number. These are matters people tend to keep private. I know I wouldn't want the cost of my next vacation announced to everyone.

Who cares faggot.

Obviously you care as evidenced by your initial overly confident response. I would only hope that you would learn from this and perhaps be a bit more judicious with your responses in the future.

No douchebag you're wrong. I wasn't saying who care's in response to the thread or my comment. I was saying who care's to you going through your own thread days later and responding with 'wrong' in caps 3 times you faggot. We listen to the show. We know we were wrong.

As long as you are admitting that you're wrong...

Pretty sure it wasn't really his number, his vacation wasn't really ruined, and it was just some jocktober shit.
Edit: probably was a number they had, not some random stranger's number.

They completely played it up for the radio. Having your number compromised like that wouldn't ruin your vacation. It's a minor annoyance at best. As soon as he noticed it, all he had to do was turn off his phone and change his number the next chance he got. I'm sure he was pissed, but it's really not any kind of permanent damage.

In today's day and age it's not so simple to just "turn off your phone" for a week.
And I've been using the same phone number since 2000. It would be a huge deal to get a new number. I'm not going to send a mass text to almost 800 family, friends, and most importantly customers, simply because somebody else made my number unusable. I would have to go through every one and decide if they are recent enough that they are likely to use my service again so I should send them a text? What about people that I only have a landline number for? Do I sit all day making calls? Or risk losing their future business when they can't get ahold if me?
"Hi, yes this is Cardinal from SoandSo Company? Do you remember me? Great, if you ever wanted to use my service again, here us my new number" Yeah, real professional.
Erock has probably had that number for years, now he can't turn on his phone without 200 "Slobb-o!" texts and who knows how many voice-mails.
Yeah, no inconvenience at all. Just get a new number. I'm sure all the industry contacts he has will completely understand.
