I think Ant later tweeted that he had no problems with anyone on Stern and that they had always treated him well. I don't think Ant was ever into the whole Stern/O&A feud as much as Opie was. He just went with it because it made for good radio and it would've made Opie look bad if he hadn't.
Opie always stirred up the outrage while Ant kept it light and funny with some hoo-hoos. Pretty much sums up the whole show, at least until Ant chooses the topic.
Op and Ant are loyal to each other. It's a big reason they've gotten this far. Anthony knows he could make it on his own, maybe even make more money without The Speedbump, but they've made their careers watching each other's backs and it's worked for them.
