Opie, as far back as I can recall, is just a jerk. The Poker Chips, "Take the wig", the mustard bomb, Bernie Goetz's CD, Sandy's guitar, the Rolling Stones pinball machine, the Stern fan walkover incident when he flipped his shit.

Dude. I've heard that Opie is a really nice guy. It's a show. Yea they do fucked up things, but it's usually to people who want to be on the show and will do anything to be on. Especially now, he's a family guy. How could you call him a sociopath. He seems like a good father and husband.

He's a nice guy when he's not on mic or camera. His radio persona is (was?) to make things awkward by being a huge dick to certain people. Did you ever know a guy who would always take things too far when everyone else was just joking around? His mother was severely mentally ill. None of his needs were met as a child. He and all the other siblings were neglected and emotionally abused. He watched the one sister be the mother's whipping post. Poor little Opie went hungry a lot too. In today's environment, the children would have been in foster care.
Who the fuck is downvoting this?!! Opie had a very fucked up childhood full of neglect and witnessed physical abuse. That's why he is an asshole.
