Opie got called by Scott & Todd's station?

he is just lying right? Even if they called him, they are not going back on terrestrial. That is just too crazy to fathom. Why would they try and do that again after what a mess it was? Can u imagine two 50+ year old men and their slightly younger now aidsy twink prostitute loving man child doing a walkover again!?!?

yea but just cuz some radio station is calling Opie doesn't mean they are gonna go to terrestrial. First off they are on Contract with SiriusXM and does it make sense for them to do double duty with SiriusXM and just one station in NY?

Neither one of them is about the 'art', they're about what brings them in the most money. If they were about the art then they could have jumped ship and started a podcast network -- they have enough money, afterall.

Instead they stayed with Sirius because Sirius is paying them the most right now. If another station pays them more, they'll go there.

I was listening to an old episode yesterday with Kevin Smith. Smith suggested they just go into small clubs to do little fun shows outside of the radio. The boys basically shrugged it off, since it would mean more work (because they're so busy, right) and no money.

even if they made the same with podcasts.. they simply don't have the give a fucks to pull it off, booking guests..being regularly on. all they have to do is show up and fuck around, so why leave that? because of no bus trip? no way.

Opie is Busy with 2 kids and a trophy wife while Anthony is busy with his rotation of 18 yr olds and his cat

while Anthony is busy with his rotation of young pussy

This is neither here nor there but when they were talking about Lotto and tax free canada and they were all just saying canada lines and Opie just throws in "pot is legal in Montreal." haha makes me laugh so much. I don't understand why that Opiesucks guy thinks Opie sucks so much.

It's because he's an aspergers patient. Not to speak for opiesucks, but I think he'd agree.

He's lying. That's why he said it under his breath like a douche. And they laughed at him

I think Opie could do well on FM to be honest. Get him and Fez and Sam as a 3rd mic, I could see it plan out well.

I remember Jim saying that he would never go back to regular radio. I doubt Ant would want to either. I think Opie would take a good offer but I can't see the whole show going again. As an XM listener last time they went to FM I wouldn't want to see them try it again.

There really is a huge drop off in the quality. I was listening to an old show from the bill burr archive where they had bret micheals on and had a shit interview on cbs, but when they brought it to XM they had his bouncer on and played the 8-track-porn compilation and it was legitimately one of the funniest things i've ever heard.

Unless they're flipping formats I sincerely doubt WPLJ, home of non-threatening "no rap, no hard stuff" easily listening work friendly drivel would want Opie and Anthony intro-ing their daily Natalie Imbruglia playlist

I think terrestrial would be great for the boys. Something about having to get past a censor drives them to be more creative / clever. I love listening to the old terrestrial shows, there's that spark.

yeah i loved the cbs shows, i love how they mocked hackey radio bits with their own like "rock scream tuseday", "wake up your spouse wensday", "phone call thursday"(personal favorite)

listening to their older shows, i would always like the cbs side better.

Money talks. If they're offered more money and perks like tour or better studio, I can see them jumping ship.

No it doesn't... it's metal and paper, it doesn't even have vocal cords!
