Judging by the callers he got on that after show from 9/16, it seems people like his schtick. Maybe he will be popular with the sheeple of mainstream America but that is not me nor do i think it is really the majority of OnAs audience or at least not what OnA are about. They aren't nick cannon or elvis durant.

I love how me using one word u find annoying or over used or cliche is enough for you to disregard my entire argument. Sam can be banal as all hell. I threw this out there in the hopes he may read it since he admitted to checking the reddit. that was my ulterior motive. I feel bad for Sam how is he ever gonna be a talk radio legend when the "matrix of his mind" is so weak. I use that term cuz it is one George Carlin used. He stated that as he got older the matrix in his mind got more complex allowing him to make more connections. I feel as if Sam has fewer connections than he needs to be huge in talk radio. I think he realizes it too since he appears to be trying to become more of a ryan secrest/nick cannon type even if he won't admit it.

It isn't his lack of knowledge about pop music that makes him a poor broadcaster. It is the fact that he then chooses to talk about pop culture in an inane and asinine way again and again. He, I would argue, doesn't reach the level of complexity that even mid brow culture magazines like Complex and Billboard mag reach, so what does that say? Especially when one day he hopes to fill up more than 25-40 minutes a day of radio time.

Yea, I come across like I have no life experience. I'm not sure what life experience is, since we all live life. If we are going by age then I guess Sam has it on me by 5 years or so. If we are talking about altered states of consciousness, I think I win against ole Sam.

I know he is young but the only interesting story he has ever told about his past is his circumcision when he was 19 and how his mom is a creeper and keeps all his hair. It was clearly not an obvious joke. They went on and on, he put the song on in the background and took many calls. Then argued with Erock over why he thought fm stations would play it, why it would be the song of the fall, and why he is like LA reid without the money. The only joke he made was saying that he should be the new snarky judge on American Idol. And even though he was joking u could hear the desperation in his voice, he would take that shitty gig in a second. Just for the money but oh boy would u see Sam give up all the trappings of his former bad boy talk radio life. Fucking sell out douche he would be. I don't blame him but it sucks he doesn't have the talent to just do a talk radio show of OnA's caliber instead of hoping he becomes some pop culture commenter for VH1, haha. And obviously no one cares. But let me elaborate more on why I hate Sam. He acts like he knows hip hop when he knows NOTHING about hip hop. It is so infuriating to see him time and time again answer OnA's questions like he knows anything about hip hop. HE IS SO MUCH WORSE than the stereotypical white guy from the burbs who likes hip hop cuz it reminds him of a minstrel show. Dude gives all white hip hop fans such a bad name. Dude is just an idiot. When you hear Op/Ant/Jimmy talk about rock music, they know what the fuck they are talking about. When you hear Sam talking about pop music and even worse hip hop, you can usually bet he is making some asinine or snide comment that does not actually hold any water cuz he is too dumb or pretends to be too dumb to comment in an interesting, articulate, or argument baiting way.

Another reason I like OnA/Jimmy is cuz all three of them have lived crazy lives filled with awesome stories. I get little of that with Sam.
