i dont know because ive never looked into it, but ill try my luck asking...how did sam work his way up to having a job over any other intern? did they just like him? also how do you be an intern anyway? is there an application process
The earliest audio of him I've heard was when he was 26. I don't know his current age so I can't do the math to figure out when this was, but during this segment the boys first hear what Sam's mom's name is (Bobbie):
I heard a clip on youtube where it was SAMs last day as an intern and they were playing clips of his radio show and playing the car crash sound over it

Prolly were just hiring. If they don't need anyone then they won't consider hiring them. I kno they post on Facebook about them when it's time.
