What's worse, Opie stomping on a cake that was given to a homeless man where Opie later gave the homeless man money, which without a doubt, money is more useful to homeless man than a god damn cake?
Or
Reddit's hive mind falsely accusing several people based on zero evidence, including a missing and later found dead college student, of the Boston bombings?
When was the last time you saw a homeless man with a sign saying, "Can you please spare some cake?"
It's funny in that they think contacting SiriusXM will get them somewhere with their cause. I've been calling SiriusXM for 5 years to change my login credentials from my old Hotmail account to my current Gmail account and have gotten nowhere through multiple requests.
What's also funny is, people trying to boycott a show they have never heard of.
I'm sure the SiriusXM management are stirring themselves into a panic over potentially losing a sizeable chunk of the "narcissistic neckbeards that don't even listen to the show" demographic.
99% of the general Reddit population would pirate the show rather than sign up for SiriusXM anyway. Fuck them and their snap-holier-than-thou judgements.
And honestly, a guy's cake getting fucked up is funny if you're not that guy. To paraphrase reddit's darling Louis CK, my kid falling out of a window isn't funny to me but I hope other people will laugh at it.
The funniest part of all of that whole cake stomp debacle, is that all those neck beards who are crying about it have probably never even given cash to any homeless person.
Anthony is a completely different story. And if I recall, Ant wasn't actively accusing anyone in particular, he was just referencing 4Chan and Reddit and their detective work. I'm pretty sure Ant is smart enough to know that accusing somebody of terrorism on the air without evidence is subject to a lawsuit.
I don't know about that. The boys are hesitant and careful when slander is involved. They won't say someone is gay, they always preface it with "allegedly" or something similar. I could be wrong, though. Point being, Ant did not conclude this information on his own, he got it from Reddit and their serious detective work.
IIRC, he also followed it up with an admission that he had no idea what he was talking about and shouldn't be taken seriously. Well, after Jim or Op called him on it.
Might I add, Opie and Anthony use to hold the Homeless Shopping Spree each Christmas season where they would load up a bus of homeless people, give them each $100 a piece and take them to a mall so they could spend it on whatever they wanted.
So fuck these assholes who think they are heroes by trying to foolishly boycott the show. O and A have done more for homeless people than these idiots could ever dream of doing.
Edit: And O&A would continue with the tradition of the homeless shopping spree but management won't let them.
Judging by his comments on Opie regarding the original video it is /u/161719. I don't know it it is actually him but somebody said that it was him, and the vitriol sounds similar.
Hmm, I don't know after reviewing some of his comments. /u/161719 said "I sometimes listen to their radio show because they have on funny comedians now and then, but the cake jumping faggot (opie) has always been a no-talent 17 year old in a rapidly aging body." Plus there are comments on political threads. That doesn't sound like Opie.

The hive mind of Reddit is infuriating.

Also, they think they are going to get the advertisers to pull their money.

Steven Singer would spit in the faces of these boycotting jackasses who would file such a request.
If it weren't for O & A show, the 24K gold plated rose wouldn't sell out year after year. BTW, that thing is fucking horrendous.

I can confirm it looks like shit
1 [deleted] 2013-08-12
Please tell me you bought one. And if so, what was the response of the person when you gave it to them?
3 TilDuh 2013-08-12
My dad bought one for my mom. I think she put it in a box in her closet...

Exactly where it belongs.

It's ok, he gave each one $100 after the cameras were turned off!
18 [deleted] 2013-08-12
It's OK. Reddit apologized for falsely accusing a handful of people for being terrorists.

While the general reddit population annoys me as much as the next guy, let's not pretend that Ant didn't do the exact same thing.

I specifically remember him mentioning Sunil Tripathi's name, and even said that anyone who sees him should shoot on site.
5 [deleted] 2013-08-12
Mentioning his name because Reddit made the name (Sunil Tripathi) famous and accusing him of being a terrorist is two different things.
Edit: I can't tell if you're being serious.
2 JosephMoosington 2013-08-12
I remember him saying that he thought the bomber was Sunil Tripathi.

More than that no-home-having piece of shit deserved for having his cake stomped on.
Anyone who goes around having their cakes being stomped on can suck my dick, that's what I think.
And he can double suck my dick for not having a house.
2 kevinc69 2013-08-12
To me, one of them doesn't look like a $1
9 [deleted] 2013-08-12
Fuck, I just realized this, the internet is mad because Opie stomped on a cake that he purchased. This place is fucked.

Looks real to me. You can clearly see his "V".
3 krbin 2013-08-12
As a Reddit Computer Expert, I can confirm that it is real.
