I started looking up Patrice bits and stuff after he died. I'm missing this guy more and more every time I listen to him on the radio. The realest dude of all time, and one of a kind.
It's more bittersweet for me. It seemed like he was on the cusp of making a huge break as people were starting to 'get' him. We just don't know what his career would be like today. It's possible he'd have his 15 minutes & a movie and then the entertainment zeitgeist would move on. Heck, it's possible he'd try and sabotage it. We just don't know so it's just best to appreciate what he has regardless of late comers to his material.
