"Going To The Jim (And Eating Better)"

A wacky ABC sitcom where Jim plays entrepreneur Jimmy Schekler, who has just inherited an entire chain of gymnasiums from his late uncle Ted. Early seasons and episodes are based around Jimmy getting acquainted with the fitness industry, dealing with his meathead training staff (played by Jim Florentine, Club Soda Kenny, and Nick DiPaolo), getting to know the wacky regulars at his gym (reoccurring turned featured roles by Mike Bocchetti and Joe DeRosa), battling the rival Burly Bear Gym (owned by Bobby Kelly), as well as being breadwinner to his longtime domestic partner Colleen (portrayed by Colin Quinn wearing a wig). Later seasons will feature annual guest appearances by Ozzy Osbourne, as well as "Very special" episodes revolving around serious topics such as insurance liability (Kenny accidentally drops a leg press machine on a customer's head) and the AIDS epidemic (Jim and Colin have sex on one of the treadmills).

I just wanna see him act badly in something semi-serious. Nothing would be better than a sitcom where nobody on it can help breaking character.

I think he should have a show where he critiques all his favorite music. Both episodes would be great!

He should do a show on Discovery called "Into the Future with Jim Norton" where Jimmy projects where today's cutting edge technological breakthroughs will lead us many years into the future.

Well it's been years since I've seen a gunge tank on TV, I think Jim's the man to bring it to a new generation. Of course, in his case The Log Flume would be a better name.

Take the relationship and sex questions he'd get on Jim Norton Show and have him and a panel of comics answer them. He could easily sell it to Comedy Central because they could throw anyone with a special to promote on it.

I'll get downvoted for this but fuck it. While I love Jimmy and will go to his shows to support him, he just doesn't have the skill or the it-factor to pull off series lead. His small, supportive role on Lucky Louie was perfect. He is great is small doses.

I tend to agree although if Atell hadn't done Insomniac I would say norden could do that exact format pretty well.

Something like that would be perfect for Jim, I think he's the most clever guy on radio, but I'm not a fan of his stand up. He's best when he's in improv situations.

In all seriousness, a reality TV show would be great for him. Follow the fucker around for a few weeks and you'd get some great shit on film.

jim norton and bob kelly host a weekly mma show where they talk to fighters, go to the big events, go to mma gyms around the country, all whilst creating those gut busting laughs we all love them for.

there is a big crossover fanbase already...the mma community loves rogan and rogan loves jimmy and o&a. Dana White loves jimmy and the UFC has deals with fox who probably still need content for their soon to launch Fox Sports 1 channel which will be the UFCs new home.

i 100% seriously think jimmys movies should be made. the rape of agatha tinsley and the one where the kid drops the fig newtons would be like avant-garde surrealist movies(i dont know what that means) and The Kennedy's with all the random porn would be fucking hilarious.

I have a prefect one that will be a guaranteed hit.i emailed him twice telling him I had ideas, just didn't tell him what they were. I understand why he didn't respond, I just wish he did because I know I can make him a lot of money and a highly viewed television show.
