Patrice thread brought it to mind... Who's your favorite current regular guest? Excluding Patrice (who I'd vote for, and who'd be a slam dunk winner)/Jimmy.

I'd go Burr barely over CQ.

Colin Quinn is easily the best of the semi-regular comic guests who come in. He's streets ahead of anyone else.

burr is the best to me, but when you get burr and Quinn in the same room its amazing, the way colin can just break down a situation is unlike anyone (except Patrice), but the way he does it with such distain, like when bill was plugging his movie and said "don't blink or youll miss me" and colin trashed him so hard.

Burr was absolutely killing it today. I like when CQ pops in. Like when he gets word they were talking about him and calls in and trashes everyone. Derosa bashing could only go so far, good every once In a while. I think I would agree that Burr would be my favorite.

I don't consider Burr or CK "regulars" anymore. A Louie visit is always an event now, and Burr's almost always a short, awkward phoner.

Right now it's DeRosa. I like Quinn and Kelly, but it feels like they play to their strengths. DeRosa comes on the radio and is always so vulnerable and seeking approval. It kind of feels brave in a way because he doesn't have very think skin. Just listening to them change his mind about his own fucking tattoo in 30 minutes was hilarious. Plus, he's just a funny ass dude.

I agree, I dont get the hate either. derosa is a really talented comedian, he's usually so precise and on point...and his stand up act is one of my favorites. he's just great at conveying feelings of frustrations we all relate to.

He can just never keep up with the other comics. Notice how he always gets bashed but rarely fights back? Vos and Bobby can at least fight back just as strong when they get beat up on but DeRosa really has nothing to say and he's a "try hard" every time he's on the show. He's never just felt natural to me. And it has nothing to do with Troy calling him out. Nobody likes Troy.

Yes, I wish he would more, he's fully capable. When he gets ganged up on he turns into "Aww Shucks" Joe, at least lately - which is a shame. I think that Troy shit got to him with absolutely nobody backing him up and bashing Troy. In any case I find him funny and enjoy his commentary on other topics (complete opposite of Vos), and think he's great as a regular.

And it has nothing to do with Troy calling him out. Nobody likes Troy.

Maybe true of fans, but everyone in that studio idolizes the fuck out of him (especially Opie)

I don't mind Troy, only when he is shitting on DeRosa. Otherwise he does irritate me, he wishes he wasn't as old as he is. He is good at not acting like he is trying as hard as he is at being cool though.

Love when Vos is on because the bashing is always hysterical. Burr is great too. Love his cadence and he's a great story teller. Breuer's got GREAT stories every time he's on. Florentines epic bash on fantasy football made him a favorite guest too. Shit....forgot about Jefferies too
