I always thought Carolla and Ant would get along. They both come from working class backgrounds in construction. Both are very similar politically. Both get angry and rant. Both have been in radio for years. Seems like a match made in heaven.

I thought I remembered Opie kind of saying it was his fault and he misunderstood something at one point fairly recently. I think Carolla must have come up when they were talking about the podcast. It was just a throwaway line, though.

From the beginning of that clip, I thought adam was telling the story like it was anthony, which would have been the best. Opie would have flipped the fuck out and adam would have come out on top, like he didn't even know their names much less give a shit about them.

His account definitely makes it sound like opie was the asshole here though.
