This was Jim today: "I don't like Zimmerman, or that Trayvon died, so I would have preferred that he gone to prison for something, even if he didn't do anything illegal." And on it went like that for fucking hours...

What I was getting at was that I feel like I've heard jimmy state before that is okay to profile muslims because of what has happened in the past. But now in this case its a huge deal to him that George profiled trayvon.

There are much much much more people saying this is a travesty and cheering that Zimmerman's life is ruined and that he will eventually get what's coming to him. Even the celebrities are doing this on twitter. I don't pity Martin's family because they know they raised a thug. They know who the real Trayvon Martin is and this shouldn't have surprised them. They are playing dumb here. You know his family easily could have gone to jail if they let West and O'Mara use the text messages found on Trayvon's phone? The implications of the texts were that one of Martin's family members were helping him get an illegal firearm and Rachel Jeantel knew about it. They got very lucky. They got their million dollar settlement and the mom owns the rights to Trayvon's image so it's clear where they priorities lie.

That being said, you are right in that you shouldn't base arguments on talking heads. Most people just got their opinions off talking heads and cable news networks, when...if they looked at the facts, they'd see Zimmerman was clearly not guilty. The cable news networks are despicable.
