She's a genuinely nice person who at least tries to function in society. How sad is it to think how she literally was given up as a baby. She never gives off bitterness either.
I always just found it odd why and how she would latch on to such an extreme humor back in the WNEW days, but maybe that's just because it was probably the only radio show that had some kind of a social scene around it.

Been listening to O&A since they were first syndicated to WYSP in Philly. I never liked the Patty bits. So fucking sad. Depressingly sad.
