I pay. It's the only way to ensure that they get the recognition they deserve. I enjoy the show and its worth the 20 cents or whatever I pay a day.

Been a subscriber since XM first became available.
Would still be a subscriber even w/o O&A.

Drive out in the fucking boonies all the time and want something besides salsa music and Christian radio to listen to.

You don't have an iPod?

Yes, but most of what I listen to on XM is the live programming.

And I'll be fucked if I'm going to screw around loading podcasts and the like onto a device for later playback in the car.

See I think loading podcasts is WAY easier than streaming. I can have it anywhere and not have to eat up all my data streaming. It will work anywhere.

Who said anything about streaming?

You city folks and your 3G/4G connections.

Paying for sirus is only worth it if you want the other content they provide. I will not pay the absurd sub fee just for O and A. Wish they'd put up a DRM free, commercial free episodes like the pirates, but charge 20-30 bucks a year. Love to support the boys, but I will not support that garbage business.

You can subscribe through Audible on a variety of devices.

Audible has DRM and cannot be loaded on all devices.

I pay but I use the whole platform all the time. Even if O&A went away I'd still use sirius.

They do have OnDemand

and numerous replays

How does the on demand work? Can you fast forward the commercials, and get it on your iphone?

I use it through my Android, but I'd imagine it's in the OS for IPhone. You can ff through commercials, and when you press the ff button it skips sections based off the pad data. Is it perfect, no. You can download shows off it to. Do what I did, do the week trial and see if you like it. It also pauses 5 hours of show, and even if you just turned it on can be rewound 5 hours too. Again, it's far from perfect, but if you want the option of listening to some live, then On demand the rest, it's ok.

Don't you need Internet for that?

Lol, ya. You can get it off your phone app, or I think through the net feed. If you can't stay online long, they do give you the option of downloading shows.

The OnDemand is only the after show, they don't have the full show for download.

They absolutely do. And WotW Countdown.

I've heard plenty of complaints about OnDemand. I'd do it if they could get the shows up as soon as the illegal ones do or as reliably. I'm not paying for Sirius when I only care about one part of it.

From what it sounds like when they talk about it on the show, it's the staff's responsibility to get the show posted. So talk to Sam and Travis.

That's a completely different point, and one I agree with. A lot of things on Sirius are unreliable, from their customer service to their Apps to the Web/OnDemand feeds. The only thing that works is their service to in car radios. As for putting the show up as fast as the illegals do (dey dook our show) I agree, but the obvious reason they don't is because it would be harder to sell to advertisers. Why put a show up at 10:30 so people can ff through ads when they can put it up later and force people to listen to replays. They need to figure out better models for the boys, and even hoohoo, because those are shows for very different listeners and the model that works for the rest of the company won't work with OnA. I wish I could get a job/internship there because I have tons of ideas for them.

Where? I looked before and it only had 7 shows for download, all 7 were the after show.

Go to the web player. Click the green "Shows & On Demand". Search for Opie. Click "Opie & Anthony". Listen to the last ten shows.

I found it, I saw the first OnA link and thought that was the only thing for the show, the actual episodes were way on page 7 or 8. And of course, I got an error trying to log in.

It's weird, for some reason the shows aren't grouped together. After OnA is not near The Opie and Anthony Show, and that's not near WotW Countdown.

I listen to it OnDemand all the time.

If this is true, there is no reason why Ted's should have been shut down.

I would recommend trying out Replay A/V. Just get an old PC, run a radio into the Line In, and set up Replay A/V to record the input. There are tons of options for keeping a backlog and deleting shows. Get a dusty old PC with a 500 GB hard drive and you can store months of old shows, recorded one hour at a time. You can connect it to your home network, so you can just get the shows from any computer in your house.

Never heard of this. Thank you for it, I will definitely be giving this a try just for my personal collection.

Yeah, Replay A/V is great, even for just recording backups of podcasts. I have been using the program for years (all the way back when it was Replay Radio), transferring shows to an old 60GB iPod to listen when I am not around a radio (Sirius XM or terrestrial!). The only disadvantage is it ties up a radio if you are doing unattended recording, but I just stream the music stations on my phone over WiFi at home with my app subscription, plus I have another subscription for my car.

I sub for the boys. And bbc radio. Yes, I'm queer.

English Jimmie thanks ye

I live in the UK and tried paying for the online feed for a while.

It is Sirius/XM that put me in this position.

No Ron and Fez Satellites over my house.

For Ron&Fez the coordinates are: 3 .0 lettuce wraps/ 1 Carton (Marlboro Red) cigarettes X 3 cubans, a coke, and a Sports Illustrated. Signal shouldbe fine Buddy.

I subscribe, but wanted to load onto my iPod to listen.

Could you please??

a bit ironic...but I approve

The app is such shit and my radio constantly breaks. The company is useless. I desperately want the product but they cant deliver

I had a paid account for ten years and went through 5 XM receivers (including two Innos, which were $450 a pop). I feel like downloading a show once in awhile now isn't that big of a deal.

i pay to show support to o&a. only reason i have s/xm

I pay a subscription. Always have. SiriusXM just makes is so fucking difficult to get an internet stream and download things on demand that these uploaders are doing SXM's job better than SXM is..

I cancelled XM back when they suspended the boys. I now pay for audible, mainly just to show my support for the show. I actually think it costs me more than a Sirius subscription, but it's worth it to me. I get the people who can't subscribe to either one (mostly international) and the people that want their content when and where they want it, but the people who just want a freebie are simply not supporting the show and if enough people do that they go away. Fuck those people.

I pay for it too, but I listen to a lot of the commercial free music stations. But since I live in a very forested and hilly state, once Spring/Summer rolls around, I can barely get a signal. So I'm pretty close to just getting an iPod and then syncing a bunch of Spotify playlists so I can listen to my own music and a mix of different music in my car, and just download the O&A podcast/listen to the pirated shows.

I have a lifetime subscription, I signed up for it a few years back so I could listen to them. I can't listen to them while I'm working because my phone will die pretty fast from streaming XM all day, so I used to download the previous days' episode..can't do that anymore now that these cunt lawyers are taking everything down.

I paid for 4 years and probably only had it on in my car for 8 hours a year.

I have had a sub before O&A - I also have an Ino so I can record and still miss the show sometimes --- these other outlets are my fallback and I hope like hell there new ones will rise

I have it in my car but I cant get a signal inside my work for my reciever tried getting it on my phone sirius xm couldn't get the signal to me so fuck it im downloading

I like to DL a show when I miss parts or have to actually work at work, but yea I pay. I can't imagine how this could sink a budget.

I have been a subscriber since late 2003. Two radios for awhile. One in car and the MyFi that rocked until it died about 5 years ago. I am wondering if anyone has the Lynx radio that is supposed to allow you to listen live via satellite and wifi as well as record content to the device for later listening.

I can't find any real world users who have reviewed it as I would like to use it. Basically, in my commuter car, when on into work, but also record the show so I can listen when I start my commute and not at 3 am PST.

I've been a subscriber for 8 years now. While I enjoyed O&A immensely on WNEW I never wanted to pay for them. But then the NYC metro area lost their last modern rock station and I was going out of town and couldnt catch the Mets games on the radio I bought it. I have no audio in jack for my car so a cell phone is not a good option.

I hate the price, but I dont have an alternative

I only listen to Margaritaville. I am paying for 40 year old Buffett songs.

I bought a radio (MyFi) and gladly paid the extra $2/mo to hear them, listened religiously and then the merger happened and everything went to shit. The final straw was dealing with customer service over a billing fuck up when I bought a new car and added a new radio. It kept happening so I finally just told them to cancel my account...then I got a bill the next month, they didn't really cancel my account...and it was still fucked up with extra radios. Fuck them, they're abysmal. I've spent hours on the phone with the cock suckers trying and I'm just done with them.

God I fucking hate memes

I pay for the service because well you know... I actually have a job. Its a neat concept.

What if you have a job on the West Coast?
