Ant being labeled a "conservative"....

I'm I the only who thinks this isn't very accurate? Judging from what I've heard, he seems much more like a libertarian. He definitely parts from conservatives on abortion, gay marriage, and all the religious bullshit. I feel like these things alone would alienate him from mainstream conservatism.

It's not a huge deal to me, though. I consider myself a libertarian and happen to agree with him on a majority of things. I just don't think conservative is the right label.

I think you're totally right. I am in line with ant politically about 95% and I've always considered myself independent. Several people recently have commented that I sound like I'm libertarian and I after looking a bit they may be right.

I think the far left annoys him just a little more than the far right so he aligns himself more with R than D. That's the real problem with the Republican Party is they keep putting these religious right shitheads out there and shoot themselves in the foot with swing-type voters. They need to be more socially liberal before I can get on board but the alternative liberal shitheads are just as bad. Fuck all these asshole politicians.

Both Ant and Jim are very Libertarian leaning, despite the fact that Jimmy seems to openly bash Libertarians and despises when people use the free market as an explanation for sponsors bailing. (Specifically Imus being fired and the first amendment)
