I fucking hope to God, as their saving grace, that Colin stipulates that he only wants to be on when a guest is in studio. It is the most INFURIATING thing when someone else comes in and stops the flow of Ant, Colin and Jimmy going back and forth. Oh Colin's in lets bring in who cares VJ's from something that used to be relevant 20 years ago. The Holy Grail of Colin, Jimmy, Patrice and Ant are in-studio - let's bring in Weaze who completely derails the show to talk about nothing but liberal/conservative babble giving up what could've possibly been the best show they ever had. Colin and Bill are in, let's bring in Mark Cuban to talk about how he got rich. Colin and Otto are in let's bring in Terry Schappert to talk about something that could easily be covered on another episode. Let's put Colin on an episode with some fucking pornstar. It is fucking tedious! Whoever is doing it over there, fucking stop. Colin IS the guest. I, and I think a few others feel the same, wait with baited breath when the legend stops in and it is so fucking annoying that they have these who gives a shit interviews when routinely his appearances and lines are arguably the best moments the show has ever had.

It meant: the only excuse that they can have for having a guest in at the same is that Colin says he will only come in if a guest is on - which is highly unlikely. But if it were, it would be their only saving grace. I was being facetious.

I feel that way about most episodes--especially recently. Wasn't it an edict from management to use less comedians and more celebrity guests? Really derails what makes the show great.

Yeah maybe, but it seems like they've been doing it forever. That Weaze episode is from around 2007. But you could be right. Someone is to blame though for marginalising the legend's time on the show.

spot on sir. 100% agree. i got so excited to read that Colin was in and dumb Opie was out on yesterdays show. there was maybe 15 minutes of funny during the whole thing.
