Opie and Anthony On Demand

Anyone able to tell me why it takes the staff, or SiriusXM so god damn long to post the on demand version of the show? I pay for a service and it still takes them until mid-afternoon most of the time to get the show posted, but there are Opie and Anthony fans that archive the show, and post it commercial free within 20 minutes of the show being over, and these people are paid nothing!!! Yet a company, and staff which are paid to provide a service take half the fucking day to get the show posted. This is exactly what I'll be telling SiriusXM when I go to cancel my subscription. Why isn't someone on the staff, or an intern editing the show as it happens so it can be posted on demand almost immediately? This company absolutely fucking sucks.. and its why i download the show before i even bother using the on demand service.

Just wish I could support the show somehow.

It seems like most of the hardcore fans don't even listen on SirusXM.

I just use Gregorio Antonio yimmy and don't pay for Siriusxm,

This. The fans have been recording and putting the show up in mp3 format for some time now.

I don't pay SiriusXM a dime. They're a crappy company and show the boys no respect, so I don't bother to give them my money.

I use my dads online account sometimes when I'm at work because that's all I can use as WiFi and I don't want to use torrent sites or anything

I wouldn't worry about torrents. The links are reputable and they download real fast.

What I mean is while I'm at work and on my corporate network I don't use the Greg Oreo site I just use Sirius XM on demand feature online but I do pirate the Howard Stern Show because I can't find a podcast style site

I think because they want listeners to tune into the broadcasts so they can cash in on the commercials. I have never downloaded the show from their audible thing, but I assume there is no ads? What I find interesting is they do not archive the show, like GAY or TED and open each days post for discussion. The downloaders are there becuase they do a better job. Sirus/xm knows about GAY and TED and STERNGEEK, TIMMYCAKES, but what they don't know is how to be competitive.

Competitive is the key word.

They don't have a competitor, that's why they present their product poorly.

There's nobody to gauge their success against, and their subscriptions constantly grow because of all the installs in free vehicles.

I discussed this before, but it's really starting to get on my nerves how repetitive and awful the commercials are. In a span of 2 commercial breaks, they played an ad for Marc Maron's show 3 times. 2 of them came within 5 minutes of each other. Seriously.

Marc Maron ad, Whatsyourprice.com, Ant read, Marc Maron ad, Whatsyourprice.com, Opie read. This is how an actual ad break went.

I've never had the urge at all to purchase any of the crappy products advertised on the show. It really makes you want to podcast the show so you can just listen to the boys without any dumb advertising.

It is very annoying as they seem to time it with the replay starting (after Ron and fez) and I would rather have the on demand to avoid the stupid commercials on the platform.

I pay for 3 subscriptions. But I still record O&A every day on my PC and listen to my own recording. I'm pretty sure that recording it for my personal use (not distributing it) is completely legal, and I don't have to rely on anyone else.

I know a place that usually has it up by 10:30 or 11 . . .
