That's NOTHING. Animation normally costs $1,000 per second. This movie should cost 5,400,000.

Yes, folks, animation is expensive, because it's time consuming. You draw it frame by frame, 12 drawings per second. So labour costs are HIGH.

I like the hand-drawn animation style, it's just a bit too rough.

This is worse than flash animation. That is, you draw one keyframe and have it auto-tweened for 5 seconds.

This is barely tweened at all. That's why it looks crappy. But they obviously didn't use flash symbols and it's not raster.
