AMC to consider Breaking Bad/Saul Goodman spin-off. Could this be "Friend of the Show" (tm) Bill Burr's big break?

Ugh. And I say this as a BB and, well, BB fan (so much for abbreviations). And of course I love Saul. But spin-offs are lame. It might have worked with 70's sitcoms, but not with something like Breaking Bad. Tell the story, end it well, move on and let it stand untarnished.

That said, I hope this is a springboard for Burr, to other great projects.

(Or not... as O&A may very well be done with the show before Bill's on his way back down...)

Not only that, but Saul is a great character because he's used sparingly. A full hour long Saul show would probably get old and boring pretty fast.

fuk yes we can only hope, saul is a great character

And dare I dream -- a guest role for Jimmy?

Have you seen Breaking Bad?

Everyone knows what to do with their hands.

Jimmy has no shot. Unless they ask Regular Joe what he really thinks about Heisenberg.

He played a very believable degenerate on Lucky Louie.

His popeyed overacting? Even Spanky from the Lil Rascals told him to town it down.

lol, "Everyone knows what to do with their hands"

I really hope so. I would love to see Bill kick some ass.

Willy is great on the show and I love Bobby playing an ambulance chaser.

he just said on a recent podcast he doesnt want a tv show, from what i took away he is happy doing his little spots on shows from time to time, he could also be full of shit

As much as i love Saul, it probably wouldn't be good. He's not a stand alone character.
