I don't even listen to my XM radio half the time. I download various podcasts in the morning (whatever hit the previous weekend/night) and plug my iPod into my car stereo. I listen to about 40 minutes of the show live, then download it so I can listen at my leisure over the afternoon/evening. The best part is that the show pauses when I stop my truck and starts where I left off when I plug in headphones or start the truck back up. I don't miss anything, I fast forward through stuff I'm not interested in.
XM is shit, the hardware is shit, the idea is shit (compared to the internet), the customer service is shit, the only thing they have going for them is O&A and they treat them like garbage. I'm moving back overseas in a few months, it will be the permanent end to my sub after almost ten years of their bullshit. I even kept a sub while I was deployed. It's WAY too much effort to give those assholes any more of my money when at this point I'm only really doing it so I don't feel like a thief.
