It's okay to admit that the jokes and humor on O&A, whether from a beloved, deceased comic or not, aren't nice and are delivered by relatively unpleasant people. If you want to call that a cunty statement, then I just hope that it's because you enjoy that sort of humor and you're keeping the vibe of the show going on the internet. Don't pretend that any of them are comparable to "good" people.
Good people would make for a boring show.
Thanks for all the internet points. I'll say that I didn't like Patrice as a person at all, nor do I like any of you, so no takesies-backsies.
I don't know about the "being uneducated is OK" and religion peddling stuff. I've listened to a lot of Patrice shows but I've never heard anything like that. I could be missing something, admittedly.
All the other accusations are kind of true, but who cares? At least Patrice said what he felt and you know where he stood, unlike 95% of these weakass LA comics who are so scared for career that everything they say is filtered so as to cause minimal offensiveness to the Discourse Police.
He said things along the lines of 'if you watch a sunrise, and don't see it as proof of Jesus, you're an idiot.'
He had a lot of shitty pseudo-christian religious ideas, he had almost no respect for women, he incessantly cheated on his chick. He wasn't perfect, I don't see why pointing out things Patrice did and said makes someone a bad person.
Ron Bennington is a fucking genius, but he loses a lot of people when he professes his love for 12 step programs.
Is it cheating if they all know about each other and it's all open and honest and everyone's consenting to it? And after, like, '06? She was the only soldier in his army. If he slept with another woman, it was one that Von brought in for them both to fuck, or it was at a swinger club.
But to get to that point, there was probably a lot of lying and general disrespect. But maybe not, she might have known what she was getting into from the start.
Again, pointing out that something happened doesn't mean you're judging if it's right or wrong.
One time he was on the show, he talked about how Von gets mad at him when he's talking to a big fat girl because she knows that's what he would cheat with.
I think it was the episode where he introduced the b-boys to mysweetfattie.com
And he doesn't cheat. He talks endlessly about how he wishes he could cheat. They go to swing clubs instead, bring in threesome girls, go down to Brazil and share whores. I've listened to every single Patrice appearance, every Black Phillip, every interview available on the Internet, basically every extant piece of consumable Patrice content.
Who is downvoting this? It's not the OP that is saying it. He's just pointing us to a discussion about Patrice, who was a big part of the show. It's pretty relevant to this sub, IMO.
Because it doesn't happen often that someone makes a comment and expects to get trashed for it. One either doesn't think of a potential response at all, or assumes it will be positive. Reality crashing down on that delusion with a flood of disapproval brings a pretty serious wave of embarrassment and anger, with very few response options.
It's silly and frustrating to the bystanders, but understandable really.

He didn't cheat on Von, are you insane? Have you even listened to his stuff?

"'I've been with my girl for 6 months...She thinks we've been together for 4 years!"
His whole speech about how she had to work her way up in his army, all that nonsense.

There wasn't lying, and she confirmed she knew what the fuck was going on. You just wish there were so you could affirm your demonization.

What's the point of deleting a comment? I've never gotten why people do that.

Writing off a conspiracy theory is not fucking stupid. It's retarded to call someone else stupid for not believing the same shit you do, however.
