O&A 2005 XM Shows Torrent (Full Year of Shows)

15  2013-04-03 by DeVoidZero

I'm doing a series of O&A torrents with full shows going year by year from the satellite era, from 2004 to 2012. These will contain most of the O&A shows ever broadcast on XM/SiriusXM.

The filenames and tags are organized and complete, unlike a lot of stuff being torrented. The shows are ready to upload to your iPod/phone/cloud music service and enjoy without any headaches.

Here's the second torrent in the series, 2005. This one is nearly double the size of 2004, at almost 12 gigs:

2005: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8337872

Other active torrents:

2004: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8329820/

Enjoy, and please help to seed when you're finished!

fucking nice, are you gunna post them all on here?

That's the plan.

Thank you!

thanks, dude. downloaded 2004 yesterday. seeded it to 2/1 ratio and cut it off. will do the same for this.

it's so weird hearing Opie saying "effing" and "what the eff", the guys legitimately talking to Vos like he's a star cuz he was on Last Comic Standing, and them actually mentioning (9 years ago) that XM picture they were talking about a few weeks ago. and that's just one show.

I've only been listening for like 3 years, so this is super cool.

Don't tell anyone, but I've only been listening regularly for a little over a year. When I get into something (a radio show/TV show/band), I go all in. I must collect everything related to that thing. I'm just a torrent whore with OCD, but luckily O&A fans benefit from my sickness. ;)

Whats the quality like on the shows that are only 30mb?

Some of the older shows were encoded at 24 and 32kbps. There are some MP3 artifacts if you listen closely (i.e. swishing noise) but they are still listenable. Since they were recorded off satellite they sound clean and the voices are still clear.

What do you guys use as your torrent client these days? Tixati never seems to deliver for me anymore. I might switch back to Utorrent.

uTorrent here. To me, it's still the best in terms of features, ease of use, and speed. Another one to check out would be Vuze (formerly Azureus). I use to use it years ago, you might have better luck with it:

The main thing is to make sure your BitTorrent ports are forwarded in your router's setup menu (under "port forwarding"). Otherwise you won't be able to connect to other peers and your download speeds will suffer.

Wow thanks. This might be one of the more helpful answers I've ever gotten. Also, I have most all of 2010 and 11.

Thank you. I look forward to the rest.
