I don't want to pirate O&F (or R&F) because they deserve the money. I'd like to believe that data is collected about their listeners that works towards their favor.

Also, since when did profits affect the lower level pay tiers? It will get pocketed up top and the bottom feeders will see nothing of it. They will NEVER give Sam over 45k, mark my words.
I have had really minimal issues with the app on my android phone (which is 4G LTE and my older phone which was 3G only). On my work provided iPhone (Sprint 3G) it never works. I do have to say that the app has been much more reliable over the last 6-7 months than it's ever been (even prior to the merger). I still hate that we have to pay extra but I enjoy listening live and I can't get XM signal in my building (we used to but since they redid the building windows the signal is completely blocked out).
I never have problems with the phone app. I use a moto droid max and have no issues. I used my ancient delphi skyfi until recently but now that I can pause/skip etc with my phone I use it all the time. I wish the skip forward or back UI was better but overall it works for me all the time.
If you complain enough on their Twitter account @siriusxm they will refund you the cost of the app for the year. I got my whole year's worth of app fees reversed. Same goes with the shit online player.

I canceled my online service years ago when the show would always drop out, be replaced by a a day old R&F (other way around too).
Now that it seems the online service is becoming more reliable I'm thinking of adding that back on.

The ondemand feature is horseshit too. It takes them all day to add the show when I can go online and get the show 20 minutes after its over.
