Have you met O&A (or affiliates) in real life?

Living in Australia, I don't really have any chance of meeting the guys anytime soon, so I'm curious, has anyone met the guys (O,A + J, the staff or any of the regular comedians) and what were they like in real life?

I met them twice at signings for Demented World and Unusual Suspects back in the WAAF days. I was only 12 or 13, Anthony fucked me.

I Did too. I waited at the Burlington Mall for like 3 hours to get Demeted World signed. I was about 14 and remember women flashing people in line....it was awesome.

I seen Jimmy a few times live when he came to Texas and he has always been very nice to people after the show talking and signing autographs. Wife and I went to NYC for our honeymoon in 2010 and waited out side the building to meet the boys. Ant and Kenny came down first I asked Ant if we could get a picture and he was nice took the pic with talked for minute and went on with Kenny ans said Opie would be down in few minutes. Ant also hinked and waved to us as he drove by on his way home which is a little thing but made my wifes day. Opie came down and Kenny got out of his truck and brought him over to us Opies was very nice taking pics with us asking what we had seen and where else we where planning on going even gave us ideas on few no touristy places to check out.

TLDR: meet all 3 and all have been very nice

I've heard a bunch of anecdotal stories like this of Ant. He must really be a good guy.

i saw jimmy

I met Amy Schumar and Mick Foley. I told Amy I was a huge fan and she didn't even respond to me.

I met all three briefly last year at the Chicago show. All were friendly. The following night I went to Jim's antisocial show at the casino near Chicago. Met him after the show and he even remembered my name. He was super friendly. After the show at about 9:30 I made my way to the high limit area at the casino. I figured Ant would be there, and he was. As was Keith the Cop. They both said hey and I watched for a minute before asking if I could take a seat. Ant said sure. I'm a very experienced blackjack player and I could tell he appreciated that I was making the right moves. We played until about 3am when his car was coming to take him to the airport. Right before he left he bet is entire 10k marker on a single hand and won. It was just the three of us shooting the shit the entire time. Very fun night. I will say this, the way he acts on the show and they way he describes his blackjack exploits is 100 percent real. BLACKJACK!

SEVEN PLEEEEEEAAASE!

BLAAACKJAAACK!

I met jimmy and kenny after one of jimmy's shows. unfortunately i was blackout drunk and had no idea i met him until my brother told me the next day and i found a signed cd in my pants pocket as well as a picture on my phone. turns out i was struggling to open the cd packaging and kenny had to take it from me and do it himself. i apparently also fell down the stairs while waiting to me him. yes, i was that guy, but i was only a danger to myself.

Kenny was probably disappointed you didn't crack your skull open so he could notify your next of kin.

i dont think they knew/saw me fall. it wasnt my fault, the venue had half price drinks before the show! 4 half price long island iced teas sound like a good idea at first...

I've met the whole crew and Ron & Fez as well (live in NY, been listening for years, blah blah blah). I've gotten pictures with pretty much everyone at this point (and some random celebrities that have been there). Also have run into Opie at FH Rileys a few times coincidentally and during show events.

I'd say that they're pretty nice guys and when it comes to fan interaction, Jimmy is probably the nicest guy ever. I had gotten a picture with him when he did Letterman (late 2006) so I printed it out and waited with some other fans outside the studio building. Jimmy came right up, signed the photo and was just a sweetie boy.

I met Bobo at a met game. Same irl as on the radio

I was at the Homeless Shopping Spree that took place at the Palisades Mall (don't remember the year). I met most of the auxiliary players that night, including Tippy Tom (watched him vomit in front of Abercrombie), Half A Hulk Race, Pat From Moonachie and a few others. Tippy Tom was naturally hilarious, even after he vomited. Half a Hulk Face kept having drinks bought for him but didn't talk to many people. Pat was super friendly and a great guy. I met OnA, CSK and Jim Norton at his comedy special that was recorded at the NYU Skirball Theater. CSK is a robot. Jim was nice enough, but seemed obviously pre-occupied about the recording. OnA were both shaking hands as they left the theater after the recording. They talked to a lot of us on the way out. Both seemed friendly enough. I also used to frequent the Comedy Cellar so I've met a lot of the comedians that they have on the show.

Been to the bleachers at the xm studio several times. Took pics with all after the show, all were great. Ant sounds grouchy towards fans on he show but is really a nice dude. Ran Into Opie on the street in NYC and he was super cool. One time going up to th studio in the elevator it was just me my friend Vos and Colin Quinn. That was fucking awesom. Vos trashed my outfit before the show and they weren't even on the air. East side Dave then came in and took his shirt off and grinded on my friend for no reason. It was Awesome.

I have a signed copy of happy endings by all three from a book signing in philly. I almost passed out like a faggot.

also went to 2 of jim's shows. met sam, kenny and amy schumer douchebag with jim

always uneventful when I come around

Someone on here is a guest at compound parties. I think they posted pictures at one point.

I've had the chance to do a few walkovers from back in the XM days, so I was able to snag pictures with the bbboys, and even with Louis CK one day when he was in studio (I believe it was the I SAW THE SIGN contest day). I feel particularly lucky for getting that photo because I think I heard somewhere that Louis doesn't do fan pictures anymore. Also was able to have a couple of brief chats with Burr/Patrice on the way from KROCK to XM. Also was able to attend one of the Homeless Shopping Sprees, so I met some of the homeless guests/staff if that counts.

One of the other shows I sat in on was one where Tippy Tom and Sandy Kane were in studio and she went down on him. Could be one of the most disgusting things i've ever seen/smelled.

I think what was most surreal about meeting them was they sounded EXACTLY the same in person as you hear them on the radio. I know that sounds like an obvious thing, but it's pretty cool to hear that they don't really amp up their voices that much for the radio. Each of them were very approachable, as long as you didn't plan on shaking hands with Ant.

I was up in the studio towards the end of their days at the Steinway Building and was able to snag a Louie CK picture. Probably one of my favorites.

Met Jimmy and Attel outside their Vegas show and Jimmy signed my book. Didn't really stop to talk because the guy behind me was trying to talk over everyone and shout lines from the show and I could tell Jim was getting annoyed.

Great fucking show though, holy shit. Jim opened with a joke about the shooting that happened in Vegas like 3 days prior and it set the tone

met the whole crew when they came to Chicago for the live show. The boys were great and jimmy enjoyed my edgar impression

Did he?

I met Jimmy, Rich Vos and Bob Kelly when they were all in Montreal a couple years back for the Nasty Show. I also met Jim Jefferies during the same Just for Laughs festival.

To speak to Jimmy we had to ask a security guard after his set. Security went backstage to ask Norton if he'd come out for a picture, and he was super nice about it and came out for a few seconds. We snapped some pictures and told him how much we enjoyed his set and how great he is on the show and he seemed happy. He left shortly after though, and has since trashed Montreal on the radio.

Vos and Kelly were amazing. They were selling their CDs at the back of the venue after the show, and since no one was talking to them my friend and I decided to initiate a long conversation - starting with me drunkenly stating that Vos really surprised me with his stand-up; he seemed to be moronic from what I heard on the radio. Vos and Kelly proceeded to bash me based on my pre-judgement of Rich, and I was too intoxicated to really defend myself. I was slightly insulted, but it was all in good fun and I felt somewhat important to be shunned by some of the best.

Jim Jefferies came to do a set in a little punk-rock club, and was supposed to have Patrice O'Neil open up for him. Unfortunately, as I heard on the radio, Patrice was stopped at the border and had to turn around since he had a 25+ year old charge of statutory rape hanging over his head. Jefferies got a longer set, and with the extra time asked some questions to the crowd - I filled him in on the Patrice ordeal and he thought it was somewhat ironic that he made it through the border but Patrice didn't. I then met him after his set outside of the venue, trying to smoke a spliff with the guy, but he had no interest as he just wanted to go clubbing. I snapped a quick photo with him, then he left in a Cadillac Escalade for what I assumed was a hooker run.

TLDR: Jimmy is cool, Vos and Kelly are awesome, Jefferies only thinks about what can get his dick wet.

I was in NY for work a couple years back and missed the Virus show due to weather issues in Chicago. I decided to go into the city on Monday and hung outside the studio with a couple other fans waiting for the walkover. Kenny and Master Po came down on their way out and let us know there wasn't going to be a walkover because of the studio construction at XM. He was exactly as blunt and oafish and tall and dorky looking as described.

They also sent an intern out on a breakfast run or something and he came sprinting by us. We told him to let O&A know we were down here and wanted to come up. He came back and grabbed the one chick that was hanging with us and brought her up where they berated her for a half hour (she was not cute).

Somebody (I think from CBS management?) came down at some point and gave us some shirts and a nice pair of O&A cheekies for my wife.

If anybody happens to have a link to that show I'd sure appreciate it. It was a fun trip, my boss and I went to Orange County Choppers as well and got a picture with Paul Sr. My coworkers went to drink at the bar at Trump Tower and saw Trump walking in.

I met Jimmy in Dallas after a show and he was very nice. Kenny is an interesting fellow. Didn't seem to be that excited to be where he was. I don't blame him. And I met Louis CK once after a show and he gave me advice about doing standup.

O&A Virus tour outside of DC had a meet and greet. Once I drove from Ft Bragg and watched the show at the XM studio on 57th street. Bob Kelly was on that day. Master Poe made sure that copies of my ID were made. I remember erock gave me a few wow stickers.

The only friend of the show I've met was Florentine. Saw him do stand up and as soon as he was done he sprinted out to the lobby, flipped open a table, and piled some CD's on top to sell. I thought that was funny because most of the audience hadn't even gotten up from their seats yet.

I've met Jimmy at shows, he's very approachable. He's a regular guy, who happens to enjoy a good tranny prostitute on occasion.

Opie walked by and I said hi at FH Rileys last week during the St. Patty's Day parade. He had his son with him so I punched out and didn't bother him.

I met Opie and Anthony in Las Vegas at the Virus tour, both of them were super nice. I've met Jimmy a bunch of times, along with Club Soda Kenny. Met Vos and Patrice twice each. Bob Kelly, Ralphie May, Joe Rogan, and Jim Jefferies once. Had a great conversation with Louis CK at Cobbs in San Francisco back in 06 (I think, maybe 07). Got pictures with all of them, and I have a huge XM banner from the Vegas Virus show that I got most of them to sign.

Dude! Post the pictures! (Especially the ones with Patrice) :)

Ran into Vos at a Blockbuster Video a while back, not long after his season on Last Comic Standing.

Sat side stage @ comedy cellar where Jim Norton strolled on stage. My g/f described my face as:

:O

andddd went to see him in Toronto last year, was an a+ show.

Live broadcast in Cleveland: only person I didn't get a chance to talk to was jimmy. Ant was hanging out for a bit taking pictures and clinking drinks. Troy was cool as fuck. Sam was nice. Erock seemed genuinely happy to talk to fans. Travis was busy, but took a picture. Danny actually hung out with us for a bit and wasn't a douche at all and had some cool insight about how his first year he was still star struck. Sad now as Danny is nothing but a GIANT douche on his twitter and FB. Oh and I met bobo...he really just stammers and repeats himself. I always thought it was nerves being on the air or in studio.

Random comedians: Met Jim Jefferies, Tom papa, jay mohrs, mick foley, bob levy, going to bobby Kelly this weekend.

Cleveland virus tour: Met vos and he almost had Kenny remove me because I was a drunken idiot and kept yelling for him to meet me at a strip club. Met Kenny when he asked me to leave the area. Met pat from moonachie, patty, no filter Paul in the ona petting zoo.

TL;DR: no one cares.

They came down to West Palm Beach when they were doing the whole Terrestrial/Satellite thing. Drove a couple hours, get to the station, and there were quite a few fans there. The station wasn't expecting us and didn't really know what to do with us, so they stuck us in conference rooms and gave us donuts, coffee, WOW stickers, and station swag. Jimmy came out during one of the breaks to say hi to us, saw me, and his eyes lit up. I got a picture with him and Kenny, then they went back on air and he talked about how there was "this guy in one of the rooms who looked like a BIG adult baby." (me). They had Erock come and get me and RUN me over to the studio so I was out of breath. I was on air for about 6 mins with them, then everyone came out and took pictures after the show. Got pictures with the boys, Than, and Steve C (I cherish that picture), and met Melinda. Now, this was 2006, so I still had a Myspace. I chopped the audio out of that day's show and put it up to an auxiliary myspace I had at the time. And it's still there if anyone wants to go listen: http://www.myspace.com/nillertime

I got a WOW sticker signed by them a long time ago when they were syndicated to WJFK Washington D.C. There was a 50+ group of fans outside the doors when the show ended, but they came down and signed everything. Someone in the crowd tussled Anthony's hair and he looked up and said "OOOO TUSSLE". That was pretty funny.

The only other thing that sticks out is that they're pretty short.

My husband and I met Jimmy after the Poconuts show. The show was fantastic - Chip and Uncle Paul made an appearance! Jimmy was an absolute gentleman after the show. He happily let my husband cup his breast. http://imageshack.us/a/img248/950/imageyel.jpg

I met Fezzie once. Nicest guy.

An entire thread about meeting celebrities and getting pictures, yet only one picture delivered...

I met Otto once after he did a show in my town. GREAT fuckin dude man. He put up with me in a pretty hammered state and we talked about shitty little cities he had visited on that tour for about 10 minutes. If I had been in his position I would have told me to go fuck myself.

I met opie at a starbucks rest stop on my way to AC (i think he was on his way to Philly) he was right in front of me. I overheard him talking about something I heard on the show earlier that morning. I thought it was him but I couldn't tell , but after I heard him talk I knew it. I was too shy to introduce myself , I tweeted him and he responded and said hi (IRL) really nice dude.
