If you could bring back ONE long-lost O&A show regular (not counting Patrice), who would it be?

Louis CK.

Hardly counts. Lou comes in when he has time.

I love how this got upvoted but a reply that basically concurred got downvoted.

Saw him in Richmond on Saturday. Cannot recommend his show enough. I felt high as fuck after laughing that hard for that long.

Success has changed him. As long as we got old Louis.

Success has made him super busy. He's not a bored comedian with nothing to do most mornings, so he doesn't stroll in to the show whenever. The guy donated almost 300,000 from his comedy special to charity and gave the crew who worked on it a bonus after the 5 dollar experiment was successful. Louis CK is exactly the same guy, just very busy these days.

AAAIDDSSS

Considering opie, ant and jimmy made an appearance in the latest season of his show, they would clearly disagree with you.

Edit: They also played a couple of clips of him last week.

This is just an idiotic thing to say.

He boogs the show down. Boring

I can't believe this got 20 downvotes. Made me laugh, I'd expect O&A listeners to be able to pick up on sarcasm a little better.

New to the show, are you? :)

Colin Quinn.

Describing Anthony as a "Back Alley Tunisian Knife Fighter" is reason why I believe Colin Quinn to be the best.

You mean the Corsican Pimp?

I don't remember who he said this to, but it was "Bosnian War Criminal."

Kurt Metzger

only if the speaks on the fucking mic

And doesn't lie down.

Colin Quinn without hesitation or doubt, he is on par with patrice for my favorite comedian/personal in general. The greatest tragedy to ever exist is tough crowd not getting a dvd release.

Some magnificent bastard uploaded a bunch to YouTube.

Hell yes. That's where I go for my TCWCQ fix now days. Unfortunately, there is a fuck ton of material cut off, a lot of them just stop mid-show with no followup vid for the rest of the show. There is also a lot of conflicting labels too, multiple people labeling their videos in sequential order with each number being a different episode, so "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn 1" might be different depending on the uploader.

It's a total crapshoot that could have been (and could still be) avoided by releasing the dvds. It's not like they don't have the tapes, they're just caught up in bullshit hollywood politics. Nevertheless, youtube uploaders are keeping tough crowd alive, even if the vids are shitty.

Intern David.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This is a no fucking brainer.

Steve C.

That's terrible, I'm sorry.

Jim Jefferies.

The fucking bashing he gives Ian Halperin (Your Highness) is unreal.

He was always a great guest, cause nothing was expected.

He was on last week.

Fork I missed it, but that's because I'm trying to listen to all of the past episodes (starting around Patrice's death) up to the most recent.

Thanks for the notice though, Jim rules.

You gotta check out this last appearance, he starts talking about his gf in unkind ways not realizing he's on air. His reaction is priceless.

Bobo, in studio.

B...I...L-L-T.......E-T-L-E-YYYYYY.... BILL TETELY!!!

god dammit that shit is stuck in my head now

Same. Joeyo43, I now hate you so much.

I wish Breuer was still on a lot.

Seriously? He sucks! He sounds like the douchebag that everyone knows that exaggerates stories past the point of believability. I can't stand him

What about the mafioso story with his father saying "I may be outnumbered, but ONE of you is going to die tonight"

that was a fucking awesome story

It was the same day that Denis leary was in studio to promote his song I'm an asshole, or something like that. Originally it produced major douche chills, but after he explained the meaning behind the song, it was.... acceptable? at best. Breuer just burst into the studio and totally killed it with that story

What? He is easily the funniest story teller.

I loved his gang weekend and Pizza man stories. Classics.

Only Louie tells stories as well.

So amazing. Gotta add his various long island stories, and his getting caught jerking story. So hilarious!

I think he's a great story teller. I know most of it is full of shit, but he tells it well.

Ted sheckler

YES! I miss Ted bits. Probably my favorite of Jim's characters. Too bad it's his least favorite to do.

at least we still got double guns. take us out you fat fuck.

Wasn't a regular but I liked Brian Regan.

they finally got him to curse on what I think was his latest appearance.

would like to see his "darker side"

Regan is awesome when he's doing his bits.

Intern David my David.

Woooaaaaaahhhh!

Tippy Tom and/or more interactions with the homeless. Love the material they get from those guys.

Spaz.

thus then

I will drop in a thus then when parodying an idiot trying to sound smarter than he really is and nobody has ever not even once got the reference. Most try to correct me if anything.

Absofuckinglutely

Infuckingcredible

you all missed the obvious choice. Its IRA , BLUE SKKKIESSSS

Nevahhhhhhhh...

If we're narrowing it down to living people, then my vote is also for Ira. I always find myself doing his voice, when I'm completely alone, like a psychopath.

intern david

Steve C, but obviously he's dead, so completely unrealistic. I'd go with Psycho Mark instead.

Your mom's box, your mom's box...RIP Psycho Mark...

TORTURE!! IT'S TORTURE!!! ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK 50 CALIBER!

Nick dipalo

Pat from Moonachie.

He always knew how to "toe" the line of comedy. Harumph hmmph.

car crash

As much as I loved Patrice, obviously.

I think Steve C always brought great radio whenever he got on mic. He was the anti O&A, and they all played so well together. Not to mention, always being able to do Steve C jokes w/ Ant was awesome.

Outside of that, not really anyone I can think of. Bobby was always entertaining to me, but I haven't actively listened to the show in probably 2 years now.

Ben Sparks a.k.a. "Ole Gravy Leg"

Except for the fact that he's dead to Opie, Anthony and Jimmy.

But I miss all the herkin'-n-jerkin'. . .

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA Tom Brady Tome Brady Tome Brady, cocaine.

How'd that happen? OAPedia has nothin

It seems as though it was Benny that created the mrs. Hughes and Bam Margera sex tape hoax.

Ben. Bwa dude Tom Brady coke

Big Jay Oakerson

Steve from Yellowstone

Just hope for a bad guest and he'll show up.

He was never in studio.

No love for Than?

When was Louis last on the show?

Talking about his boat stories.

the retarded Lavern and shirley. maybe a little of frenchy

[deleted]

Bill Burr, Lewis Black, Jim Breuer, Amy Schumer.

Intern David or Pat Duffy. Radio gold.

He was never really a "regular" but when was the last time Stephen Lynch was in studio?

i think it's been a Really Long Time

Pablo Francisco/Ralphie May. Good times, good times.

Twitchels, but not for him to speak...mainly for stunts.

Like making a mess, jumping up and down, or even betting on how long he'd stay silent.

Limo Anthony, said nobody.

Danny

fuck no i would rather O&A were replaced by a nonstop mandatory marathon of john and jeff than listen to danny "argue" with everybody in the staff..... including ant do anyone remember that CUNT giving ant shit about using a mouse while playing call of duty.

FUCK JUST REMEMBERING THAT SHIT MAKES ME MAD

He was right. It's cheating

[deleted]

He's rarely in, but when he is, it's pure radio gold. I'm speaking of Opies Absence of course.

i think it's been a Really Long Time

And doesn't lie down.
