Complaining about twitter is the new theme of the show

Has anyone else noticed that the show now comprises of about 20-30 minutes a day about how shitty the fans are, especially on twitter? On some days that is 10-15% of the show. It seems to have been a theme EVERY show for the last few months.

There is usually a 10 minute block in the beginning of the show, and several rehashings of the same thing for a few minutes at a time throughout the show.

Opie's fan voice is so douche chilling, its not funny and sounds like a little kid trying to be funny.

I honestly don't even believe this (fans constantly checking their twitter and criticizing them) happens, and that they are just making stuff up to sound more self-important (soo many haters, "AAIDDS"" FML!! I DONT HAVE TIME!! I JUST DONT HAVE TIME FOR IT!! SO BSY! -Opie "BLOOCCKKKKKKKKK" -Ant) or to genuinely just waste time. Is anyone else starting to tap out?

I don't twitter so I don't like it. But if you look at their pages or Facebook you see how douchey a lot of fans really are. That being said I LOVR hearing bobo/twitter discussions

I love the complaining about the fans because it is 110% right on the mark. More of this, and less callers would be a the shit.

Yeah, thats my issue too. I listened religiously for years as a kid, up to the sex for Sam firing. I picked it back up in 2007, but stopped after a few months. Now that I've been listening again and catching up on the recent episodes (past 4 months), It's like they turned into insecure children. They bitch about twitter more than my teenage sister and her friends COMBINED, then say how it doesn't affect them at all, in the same breath. It's highschool drama, as opposed to the usual highschool humor.

What's worse is the fact that they seemingly refuse to listen to fan criticism. Aside from the douchebags, I'm sure fuck tons of fans (insert fat fan joke) give constructive feedback. However, it looks like they're all being classified as "haters".

Eh, I'll listen until the funny completely runs out, but having to sit through an hour of twitter complaints every day is getting annoying.

Tl:dr RAAAAAAAAMOOOOOONNEEEE! FIND ME SOME RADIO HOSTS THAT DON'T ACT LIKE PRE-TEENS!

i follow them on twitter and instagram. they really aren't embellishing at all. the amount of douchey comments 'fans' leave them is ridiculous. i think they actually listen to constructive criticism, opie bringing up the youtube videos being taken down are proof of this. but seriously, fans were bitching about ants tv and the stove in opies photo. its retarded. they get a shit load of hate, i think not talking about it would be weird. but i do see where you are coming from.
