bobbys podcast is a a great argument against anyone who thinks everything about comedians is interesting and just throwing a ton of them on and having them trash each other is the best type of show.
I had to stop listening to YKWD. It used to be good when it was Bobby and DeRosa. Then he brought in that austrlian broad and that other guy and it seems like he has 15 people talking at once. It's just no listenable anymore.
exactly how i feel. i only checked it out because Opie was on it. Is there a reason that DeRosa and Kelly don't do it anymore? Its just too many people trying to get their jokes in talking over people now.
Kelly has never added anything to the show. I do recommend you listen to the first few months of the podcast when it was just joe and bobby. I loved It back then.
this. i used to loved the show when it was bobby and derosa. it was hilarious. as soon as joe left and bobby brought in new people i stopped listening. its garbage.
I think the problem with Bobby's podcast at the moment is that it's like a radio show, meaning there's a lot of people, rather than a podcast with a set topic or very specific reason for an episode, but unlike a radio show, it's an hour per week with no topics or bits and it can be about everything.
It's like drinking a shot of beer. I want either a bit of a highly concentrated dose or a lot of less concentrated stuff.

I really wish Bobby would stop with all the guests on one show.

Agreed, there's not enough order or consistency. Without a detailed guide to what happens in the episode you never know what you're gonna get.

Since he left I only listened to the Opie episode and the 2 eps where joe came back. I've tried a few others but don't think I made it till the end.

I know DeRosa left the show when he was having those family issues and moved back to PA or whatever. That's when the Aussie broad and Soder came in.

Vampire Bobby is trying to stay young by keeping all these baby comics around him.

Is that a bit or did you just make that up, because that's pretty fucking funny.

I enjoy Louis Gomez on YKWD. And Big Jay. I think they both would fit in great on O&A.
I do agree with everyone though, too many people with no chemistry is horrid. Gotta admit I don't mind Kelly though. Bloody asshole and all.

When nerdist has the 3 hosts and a guest it works alright. The guys bobby has just get to eager.

But The Nerdist is still based around an interview, with a subject and a host. A fucker and a fuckee.

True. Although they have what they call "hostful" episodes where it's just the 3 of them
