Stern is taking 3 weeks off? Jesus, how does he have an audience anymore? He is down to 3 days a week to begin with isn't he?

Some weeks only have 2 days.

His show is pretty bad now too. He's just not into it anymore and it shows. I still download and listen to stern, but I'm like 3 weeks behind. It's all pre recorded bits and he's doing this weird monologue type of thing where he reads a story from the news and says a bad joke about it. Too bad it's not jocktober anymore, he would be a perfect candidate.

Like many others here, I grew up listening to Stern and occasionally I'll click over to 100 or 101 hoping to hear a great "classic" show. What the hell is up with this lame monologue thing he's being doing? It's exactly that same crap he rails on Leno about.

It's basically Leno with bad words, it's very bizarre. And those pre recorded bits too. The fake Romney and Bigfoot jr stuff, I'm embarrassed for the show when those come on. I used to recommend that show to everyone, but I never would now.

I thought it was just me that noticed it, but there waaaaay too many prerecorded bits lately, its awful and they're just not funny. That monologue is horrible. I think something is seriously wrong with Robin and its really effecting him...

It seems like they will do this week or half of it. I doubt they will be on the day after Christmas or even that week, they usually come back some time after the 1st.

They always get the last week of the year off. So this is the final week of live shows for 2012.
