Why is Roland in the PR field? He doesn't have the look at all and he can't even get a sentence out of his mouth in a coherent manner. Is it because of his family connections?

For whatever reason, the caliber of guests are night and day better when Roland is doing it. He may look and sound like a mutant, but he's either got incredible connections or he's genuinely well liked in the field.

The PR reps for the actors, singers, etc., are the ones who need to present themselves well, not Roland as a booker. At the end of the day, the PR side is the side selling something (even though Roland has to 'sell' the benefit of coming on the show).

He kind of rushes when he's nervous or something and mumbles but for the most part i'm pretty sure that's a bit. He can speak fine. Sometimes you'll catch him "out of character" and you can understand him.

I've dealt with the booking team at Sirius several times. These guys, Roland included, handle all the stations that are based in nyc. They're quite easy to work with and get right back to you. People wan't all of the entertainment industry to be like Entourage but it's just not true.
I've never met Roland personally but he's funny as hell.
