The service at the restaurant ended up being a very slow clusterfuck and it took 45 minutes for Anthony to get a table. He tried to order some shit on the menu and not even one drink was served, yet he was charged for it on his bill. Anthony probably treated the host like shit as a response and possibly argued with him, which could be the source of whatever was discussed on Monday.
On Monday, still super pissed off, Opie and Anthony had a long argument with a longer version of the RATM intro and a bunch of Worst Ofs. The PT banner changed several times and at one point, it said "No show for YOU!" Anthony's anger grew, Opie left the studio and he blacked out the camera. The PalTalk room was shut down temporarily and then the show started pretty late with just Jimmy, Anthony, Sam, and the rest of the O&A staff. Someone on PalTalk also told me that Jimmy had a very angry tone in his voice on Saturday and he also complained about the poor customer service."

(Even with the backlog of shows where the boys & Patrice would rip on places they've been faithful to that won't even toss in an extra drink or something.)
i don't trust this "blog" poster, he's not even right about what anthony's tweets said. the 45 min wait was because there were already people ahead of him, so from that it seems the place was full not slow. and anthony was mad because the drinks he got weren't comped, not that he had to pay for drinks he didn't get.
If its true that Opie is mad over the tweets, here is my take on the whole situation.

Anthony should be pissed about his shitty service and not even being comped a drink. He brings up the restaurant on air and is a personal friend of both Opie and Brett. However, bitching on twitter like an 8 year old wasn't the greatest way to go about it. He should have talked to Opie privately about everything and Opie should have told his brother to take care of Anthony.
They both seem too rational to be avoiding what seems to me, such a simple resolution. Gets me to thinking that maybe there is more to it than has been speculated.

Ant on the other hand stays home for weeks at a time because of fake whooping cough.
Either way ope said today that its gonna come out some time, so we're just speculating till then.
Sometimes in life it is better to walk away for a few days and let all parties calm down and talk things out rationally.
Then you can revisit things when cooler heads are present and prevent a heat of the moment argument about one issue devolving into personal insults and petty shit that leave scars far outlasting the issue at hand.
Perhaps the Opster and Mr. Cumia needed a few days apart to be able to do that, so Opie stayed home.
Rather than force the show's humor despite the tension behind the scenes or work together hostility for months it probably is the best move they could have made to get away from each other for a minute and regroup when both are a little calmer.

The test of the staff was just as upbeat and laughing like normal, not like there was a huge issue hanging over the show. Ope might've been pissed about shit and said "fuck it, I was going to take vacation days later this week, I'll just go now"

Don't forget that it wasn't just Anthony showing up wanting some food and expected a table on a random night. This was a gathering for Opie and Anthony fans at the restaurant, really seems like a no-brainer for them to immediately give Anthony a table. Anthony probably could have been slightly less of a douche on twitter about it, but it really seems like Opie is blowing this out of proportion.
I guess it's hard for Opie not to side with his brother, especially if there are other things that he's annoyed with Ant about, but I think Opie is being silly.
