I heard that Opie stormed out pissed off yesterday before the show started that's why they had a best of. Anyone else hear that?
I don't particularly like opie but I like the SUNY Geneseo references and buffalo/Rochester references. That's about it.
I'm on Anthony's side with the restaurant thing. My friend owns a restaurant and I get better treatment there than Anthony got at FH Riley's. They should have sat him right away and comped some drinks, that's just how restaurants work, especially since he tips so well. They should have seen dollar signs when he walked in, not just another customer.

I'm sure that while your friend treats you great, you would also go to HIM with any issues you ever had there directly, not blabbed them around town to strangers.
Ant knows BOTH Opie and Brett, yet takes to twitter to complain, instead of going to them first?
You don't do that to friends or people you've had a business relationship with for over 18 years.
You go to them DIRECTLY with any issues you have, be it a text, phone call, or face to face.
He should have asked to speak to Brett and addressed it with him. If he isn't available take it up with Opie.
Not risked damaging his business by tweeting his annoyance at having to wait for a table to over 100k followers.
Ant was in the wrong here, and I don't blame Opie if it got him pissed off. I would be too. The restaurant business is already hard enough without a supposed "friend" shitting on the service you give to over 100,000 people on twitter. A good portion of whom live on LI I am sure. .

The staff should have known who he was, especially considering it was a fan event. Not talking to the staff and letting them know Anthony was coming in was just bad management.

Fast-forward to when Jim Norton showed up, the bitching and complaining increased 100%. I was at the table next to Ant and heard the venom being spewed. Oh, and the best part was the next show on Monday when Ant and Jim and the little twat Sam went off on the fans, saying we were all annoying and boring and bothered them all night long. That's a great way to keep the loyal fans of the show. Seems that some people forget where the hell they come from. That's called being and "elitist" folks.

edit:someone on paltalk says that O&A were having a heated discussion during the delay (which was on Paltalk). Opie eventually walked out after about 30 minutes, Ant looked angrier. He then blocked the camera as if some private stuff was going down. Then he unblocked it and the show started about 10 minutes later. double edit: Ant apparently tweeted some stuff about opie's brothers restaurant this weekend, angry about not being able to get a table quick enough and that nothing was comped.
