No, this is really wrong. Seen Colin many times at the cellar, plus Broadway show. In my opinion, if you don't 'get' Colin you really don't get what great comedy is. And this is coming from someone who just thought he was that hack from SNL.
Because I don't like Colin I don't get great comedy? So that means my like for Carlin, Pryor, Redd Foxx, Steven Wright, Regan, Patrice, Burr, Louis, and Chappelle is wrong?
I'm not gonna shit on your dislike of Colin because I don't love every comedian that people like, but you have to respect his impact on comedy across the board. The guy took Jimmy, Bobby, Patrice (I think) and other comedians under his wing and helped them grow (in their own way, mind you, without forcing anything on them.) Anyway, my favorite part about Colin and his influence is that he will NEVER let anyone that he came before forget who they were (usually by shitting on them.....logically, as Colin does,) which is something many comediens forget. Colin is, if NOTHING less, the preserver of comedic purity for at least one more solid new york generation past him.
DeRosa is easily one of my favourite guests.. I find him hilarious and his brutal self-deprecating honesty is matched only by Jimmy (and sometimes Bobby). Love the guy, wish he was on more.
I've always liked Joe but when he said his favorite rapper was Kool Keith, said he was watching C.H.U.D on Netflix and was also playing Fist of the Northstar on his 360 I knew that dude was like me. I can just relate to Joe more so I always listen to the show when he is on. Same for Florentine.
I actually kinda respect and like him after the story about him and Bonnie on set. How he was actually taking it seriously and not taking anyones shit when he was directing his show.
I like Joe and I think he's funny, but he's phony as fuck on the show. Bobby has called him out for it a few times in total disgust but very quickly, saying Joe fake laughs at everything.
Joe's a hilarious comedian but on the show he's such a bitch. He can't take a ribbing without getting offended. Troyquan made him look silly ad Vos' wife did the same.
I think you've got Joe mixed up with Troy. Troy was the one who couldn't take the ribbing, he bitched out and went alpha on Joe, who couldn't handle it. It was the right tactic but still a bitch move.

DeRosa is a self absorbed, self loathing, neurotic ass. So yes, I can relate.

I relate to Joe because I am also unfunny, have an annoying laugh and my shoulders have migrated to my tit area.

You wish you were as funny as a comic who was #4 on the list of best comedy albums of 2010.

Give it a fucking rest, Joe. Don't you have a live version of Abba to cry to?

He reminds me of when someone brings their new girlfriend out and she's vegan and she whines about everything and gets offended all the time

You're thinking of that whiny sensitive faggot Troyquan.

I agree with you. Joe DeRosa is my favorite guest. He's right up there with Bobby, Colin, and Patrice.

Fuck Colin. I've never found him funny on OandA. There's so much reverence of Colin. I just don't get it.

then you just have a really poor sense of humor.

Fuck that. Oh, Colin used the word "tomfoolery" in a Twitter post. Oh he's so ironic.

Well, I guess it's like he always says, folks, "everyone's a critic," am I right or am I right?

I love when Derosa talks about his trials and tribulations with women. I can relate so much haha

The best is when Joe and Burr are in together.

I was just thinking the same thing. I feel I can relate to Joe the most out of anyone on the show.
People don't think he's funny because he's not as sharp on live radio, but his standup is pretty decent.

I went to college with him, different majors but I definitely saw him around. He's always good on the show and YKWD.

I don't mind Kelly but that last episode with all the women was too much. Please realize you're recording a podcast and not having brunch.

Joe Derosa is terrible. I do not find him funny in the least.
And his "web series" was god awful.
