I thought he got let go at the same time as Steve did. It's hard to tell through the veil of bullshit if Steve got fired because of downsizing, or if it was Opie complaining everyday on the air how Steve was incompetent and the show didn't need him for a year.

He was definitely suited for the show. Think about how many Steve related bits there are. The staff bitched about Steve but if he was really a problem he would have been fired years ago. How they treat the staff on air is just for the show. They all shit on Erock but he's been around since forever and will continue to be around. I think Sirius just fired him because the show already had like 4 different producers.

Could have been the bad bookings. No connections. Creepy emails/texts to J-Woww from Jersey Shore. Look at the quality of guests after Steve left.
