I love Jimmy, but he is a low information (non) voter. Ricky Gervais made a great point, which do you prefer: +3% in taxes for the richest 1% or freedom and equal rights for all citizens?! That seems like an easy choice to me.
You should have listened to the entire piece and not just a random minute of the discussion. I think you are mistaking a call back to an earlier joke by Ricky as condescension.
I was kind of upset that the boys didn't mention how Romney was planning to cut public broadcasting out of the federal government. Not that they are public broadcasters but i would've thought they'd stick up for their kind. Oh yeah, and tell that condescending fuck to buy a box of tea so I can go throw it into a lake somewhere ... 'merica
You probably are in the minority. Not to worry though, you can easily find people willing to back you up with hating pretty much any guest/host/staff-member/bit/any other part of the show.
As a whole the listeners of the Opie and Anthony show are unfunny bores. But we sure like to give our opinion about other people who actually make a living by being funny.

i think i missed the part where he was condescending. that's just Ricky being Ricky. very dry, offbeat comedy.

I love your reasoning for not thinking Ricky was being condescending, hahaha! "That's just Ricky being Ricky," haha! I love this guy! Love it!

Seriously, though, which part was condescending? I listened to this earlier and now just watched it, and didn't notice anything condescending.

I am most likely in the minority here, but I fucking HATE Ricky Gervais. He comes off so smug and in all honesty I don't find him funny at all.

O&A fans enjoy hating things.

He does make me laugh occasionally but he is pretty much a prick.
