I grew up in the city where this show originates. Yes, it's awful, but the worst part in my opinion is that fake voice.
In the 80's, he was hired to do EVERY SINGLE media event in the area with that damn voice. Mall opening? Gary is emcee. Car dealer commercial voiceovers? Gary again. Play by play announcer for high school sports? Yep, dipshit Gary AGAIN. Unfortunately for me, people didn't get sick of his voice on everything until after I had left the area for college. He still does some of that work, but nowhere near the amount he used to.
Hearing this bit pisses me off only because I was waiting on hold that day to talk with the b-b-b-boys, but they never went to me. :-(
