They must have gotten in trouble for yesterday's show. Opie is also gone today so I wonder if he refused to come in because they said that Jocktober was cancelled... or if his wife just had the baby. I would have thought if the latter was the case, Anthony and Jim would have just said that instead of being vague at the beginning of the show.

Update again: They just announced that listeners attacked Rich Vos' FB page in protest of no Jocktober. The boys said Jocktober will return tomorrow. They offered no explanation of why there was no Jocktober today.
I haven't heard the show yet,but maybe they didn't say anything about his baby because they don't know how the birth went.You know like people generally don't talk about a pregnancy until 3 months in case she miscarries the baby.

Also, it seems 90% of people hear hate Opie, but I believe without him Jocktober would be no where near as funny, mostly because he really knows what he is talking about. I believe it is his most successful bit.
