I heard all this lawyer talk about false DMCAs being this big felony but Joe has made plenty of rope to hang himself with, and yet he's still breathing up my air.
Is there no justice? Am I to believe Thief the Cop's clout extends so far as to wipe out Joe's countless felonies?
I mean it's hard to believe anyone has a case a lawyer would take for damages. Beige is about the only one and then was he even profiting from his docs?
I have almost chimed in a few times on this issue-- especially when that funkis guy was laying down his ultimatum.
I know next to nothing about DMCA claims and how that works. I do have a fairly decent understanding of copyright law and know that the images Joe are claiming are copyright to him are mostly not. A picture of yourself does not mean you own the copyright to it. The copyright is automatically vested in the photo taker. This is without even getting into fair use, parody, satire, and whether he gave up any copyright he might have had when he posts a photo on Facebook/Twitter.

Just as Joe likely would never find an attorney to take his "sue Redditards" case without a large up-front retainer. I do not see any lawyer taking this case either. For a lot of money, maybe. But if I had a potential client who came in and wanted me to do this for him, I'd probably pass because it is too weird and not an area I work in.

I wish the moderators would just ban Joe and try and keep the Cumia posts to a minimum so we don't have to keep moving subs.
