He doesn't make royalties on either of his Tor books. Tor still hasn't earned back what they paid him upfront.

This is all from the Fat Pig himself. He was bragging a couple months ago about how someday he will make royalties on his books once they earn a certain amount and didn't stop to think that openly admitting you don't make royalties makes you look like a failure.
