He's spent literally hours, maybe days, of his real life trying to get a subreddit, who's user's post on while they're taking shits, shut down. He posted on his Facebook, under his real fucking name, about the user's of said subreddit torpedoing his book reviews (which he does for a living, allegedly). Typing this out is giving me second hand anxiety about how i would feel if I were him. Taking a 12 ga aspirin would be the only thing I could do if I were in his position in life. That's a self published shit rag that I could never write.

They basically just look at number of complaints vs. number of responses. If there are 500 complaints and nobody responds because you have to give out your PII, Reddit just sees those as valid. Part of the safe harbor provision is that the host (Reddit in this case) doesn't get involved in judging whether the content is infringing or not.

If there are 500 complaints and at least some of them are rebutted it would look a lot more favorable.

In the Reddit notice you got an email address and you send it there and you fill out the template and send it there.

You have to pick if it's fair use / you own or you license the content / the complainant didn't include the required information to meet DMCA requirements.

Your info goes to the complainant and they can connect your PII to your previous posts.

Reddit cracked down on Subreddits that were repeat offenders this week. Mma Streams/Mma Streamz and some wrestling subreddits got shut down as well.

Someone at the UFC must really make a stink, all the other sports steams seem to be up no problem.
