The only part of the podcast that was consistently funny to me was when they would get really shitty call in guests and fuck with them. They just kind of stopped doing that early on and it removed all reason to watch/listen.

The 2015 Opie Jim can be viewed totally different now. For a while, Opie seemed like the clear hatable one. But looking back he was in the right, it just doesnt help that he’s just not great at arguing and sounds whiny.

I've been listening to a lot of classic episodes. Opie really wasn't that bad back in the day. He knew his role sometimes he had aspy moments but he looks like way less of a douche these days than the other guys.

Opie became intolerable is what happened. He used to know his role then he resented it like a girl and wanted to be what he didn’t have the ability to become. He’s a phony which is why he’s hateable.

Chip averages about 45k views on youtube. The Opster about 500.

Chip hasn't cracked 43K in a couple months and it's trending downwards. I doubt Opie gives a shit either, if he cared about commercial success, he would've tried putting the band back together or he would've done something controversial by now.

Used to be big O&A fan. When they were fired for St Pat's debacle was the last I heard of them. That last "You're Mom's Box" was it for me. Caught up on what happened with Anthony and the Times Square thing and understand that whole feud with Opie, but what happened with Opie and Jim? I see he has his own show with Sam the intern now.

The only reason Chip was funny for a while was that Jim had the goodwill of being funny, so him telling bad jokes on purpose was ironic. But at the end of the day it was still a retard telling bad jokes and Jim has eroded any goodwill he had left long ago.
