If you go back and listen to all those exchanges between Colin and Jim, you realize that all of Colin’s criticisms and jabs weren’t just witty but also absolutely true critiques of the Worm’s nasty little existence.
Whenever Norton attempted to make fun of Colin, it was always just whatever one dimensionally funny thing would pop in his mind.
You could also tell that Colin would always have to hold back a little because Jim gets offended so easily. You know, because God forbid he actually have to confront the fact that he’s a coat tail riding, back stabbing, personality thief.
