Pat does consider himself a great salesman, nothing like cornering drunk woman at a bar to push some books. I’m sure his 2nd most popular phrase is “I’ll go away if you buy it”
Indeed, that's why they have a feature that specifically tags an author's review of their own work as such, and pins it to the top. Not all authors take advantage of this feature, but many do and no one in the community considers it unethical
It is truly unfortunate when a person wants to fit in and is unable to. No one likes Patrick, he drinks alone at a knock off chain restaurant by himself.
Go back to your moms basement, child. You’re an incel and a Nazi and you’ve never accomplished anything. I have. I own 2 cars motherfucker, what have YOU done? Don’t answer that because I don’t care. I have to go now because it’s a beautiful day and I would like to go ride my motorcycle and hope not to crash again. Toodles!
"Tacky" and "unprofessional" are words that get thrown around quite a bit in this thread. These are his peers openly mocking the idea that someone would do what Pat did. Credit to /u/ScottfromSanQuentin for finding this.
Wow if you really want to find a faggot filter out all the posts by the user "One" on that thread. Some excerpts:

"If your book is something you've read and you think it's a great read, why not give it five stars? An author should be able to rate his or her work."
"My work contains important esoteric and occult information."
"I did rate my own on Amazon, only because they sent me a list of 'Would you give this book...'.Noted that the first chapters moves a little slow, some of the language is awkward (it's being revised to correct that) but then pointed out that characterization, complex plot, tension, enough action but not too muchmade the book an A- at worst, hence deserving of 5 stars
Patrick is literally wrong about everything. The whole world disagrees with him and he sincerely believes that he's the only one that's right and everyone else is wrong.
That’s what makes him so fascinating for all the wrong reasons. If things don’t go right for him, it’s because they’re all nazi’s/incels/fascists. I wonder who he played all his failures on before Trump?
My problem isn't giving your own book 5 stars. My problem is reviewing your own book AT ALL.
Direct self-promotion is counterproductive often times because it makes you look desperate.

Ahhh, the 2007 Ford Mustang. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up, child.

Hush, child. The Bullitt edition Mustang didn't come out until 2008.
He actually corrected someone on this as if it was a gotcha moment that he could chalk up as a win.

These people are their own worst enemy. Which is the best part.
3 UnwarrantedArrogance 2019-05-13
Umm it’s a Bullitt edition mustang so it’s faster than a regular 2007 gt. I mean it’s not as fast as a new v6 mustang but that’s beside the point.

That type of blind self-promotion is what WWE heels do. They do that to make people hate them.

Why hasn't /lit/ been made aware of this monumental cunt?

It’s not like he harasses dive bar patrons to buy his book or gives them away for free at a Hilton Gard...oh wait.
