I started with him on Loveline in the mid-90s. Followed him to morning radio when Stern left and then went along with him to his podcast when he first started it. And then about a year into the podcast I realized he was doing the same bit, almost word-for-word, he had done 6 months before and every week since then.
He was an amazing broadcaster, but I feel like without a programming director breathing down his neck or a producer that he has to answer to, he just gets lazy and repetitive. Adam was only good when he was angry and fighting against management.
Yea, pretty much everything he did other than loveline was a giant failure. But gotta give Dr. Drew some props. He was perfect on that show. Without Drew and the callers, Aceman is a zero.
