Alzheimer's is genetic. Roe passed away at 78, Tony is turning 58 this year. A person with alzheimer's usually lives around 10 years after diagnosis. Anthony has around 10 "good" years left. In 10 short years he's going to turn into the same shell of a person that he couldn't bring himself to visit once. Dawn visited Roe, Anthony has no loved ones to come see him.
